Oak Flooring - Smoky Grey

www.thewoodgalleries.co.uk (click on image to view colours)
Choosing a colour for flooring has never been easier whether you're matching architectural features or creating a colour scheme - there are so many colours available today. Grey oak hardwood with a smoky overtone is perfect for traditional and contemporary interiors.
It would look fabulous against pure white walls, or in a kitchen with white units and a slate worktop.
Sourced from fully sustainable forests, a tree is planted to replace each one that is cut down.

* Monthly Mood Creation - Add Texture to Grey

* Once a month I will share with you how I interpret trends, use colours and select beautiful product, creating a mood to style interiors.

Add texture to grey, mix velvet and luxurious touches with matt materials. Focus on detail, gorgeous scented candles, glamorous tie backs, and a dramatic vase. Use tone on tone wall covering, reeded and finned textures for lighting and the ultimate textured wooden floor, with a plush rug to finish.

Texture adds excitement to shades of grey!.....a fabulous background for colour too, try adding cushions in a bright colour - wouldn't it be fun to change them seasonally.

The revival of wood in product design reflects the simplicity and beauty in nature. Lighting, furniture and jewellery are just some of the many products available. There is a fabulous variety of texture and colour in wooden flooring today, from pale tones through to dark rich browns. If you haven't the depth to allow for real wood, or perhaps want a waterproof surface for a bathroom, vinyl has developed at such a pace that it very close to the look of natural wood. (example no.5 and no.14)
