Contemporary Wood Lighting - Kwon Jae Min

The Crack Bowl Pendant Light, created by Korean designer Kwon Jae Min. Unique lamps made from thin sheets of polished wood. "Object is the metaphor of that time." Kwon Jae Min.

The simplicity of this lighting design looks fabulous in a group. Love the mix of contemporary design with natural materials. Bx

The revival of wood in product design reflects the simplicity and beauty in nature. Lighting, furniture and jewellery are just some of the many products available. There is a fabulous variety of texture and colour in wooden flooring today, from pale tones through to dark rich browns. If you haven't the depth to allow for real wood, or perhaps want a waterproof surface for a bathroom, vinyl has developed at such a pace that it very close to the look of natural wood. (example no.5 and no.14)
