Simple French - Farmhouse Style

French country style, with the simplicity of white chalky plastered walls,
simple, raw wood furniture and pale limestone floors.
Raw, Natural materials
Rustic ladder back chairs, raw bleached wood tables
and terracotta smooth - worn tiles
In England we would call this simple essential design - Shaker style.
The Shakers believed that every object in the home should have a function
and that decoration was unnecessary.
Scrubbed floors and table tops for basic essential living using natural materials.

Raw and understated

I am loving the simplicity of this uncluttered French farm house style
