NYC Living - Bedroom Canvas

I have fond memories of staying twice a year in the Paramount Hotel in NYC. The interior was designed in the 90's by Philip Starck. I'm not sure if  these wonderful canvases above the bed remain (perhaps the interiors have revamped?) but it has always been an inspiration when I have designed bedrooms
A true modern classic

  1. Hello NO21,
The print on the background is of a Dutch painter VERMEER.
Her name is THE GIRL FROM VERMEER.
    Greetings Silvia

  2. I just came across your blog and love it. I was looking at it and came across the painting in the hotel...the girl with pearl earring or Vermeer. In the fall I was at a neighbors new house, on his one wall was this massive painting of the girl from Vermeer. I had asked him where he got it and he said from a NYC hotel, apparently the hotel was throwing them out to redecorate. He took this one, it cost a ton to have it shipped but it looks wonderful in his house. It has always been one of my favorite paintings. Just thought I would share. I have you booked on my favorites.
