Quintessentially English roses with white

The weather in England has changed to an Autumnal chill, we are however greeted by the sun occasionally.  My posts recently have been focused on the winter months to come but I had the privilege to take photographs at Kilver Court Gardens in Somerset last week and was inspired by old fashioned damask pink roses. They smelt heavenly and were heavy with flowers in the Parterre garden designed by Roger Saul (founder of Mulberry
This quintessentially English rose theme has been a popular choice for magazines this year, I like to see this vintage inspired theme with lashings of white, 
the perfect backdrop for colour.
